Overview of Our Training Program
At the Yoga School, we offer five levels of training, beginning with"Basic Instruction" of 100 hours, and moving on to four more levels. Enrolled students may progress as far as they feel they would like. Many of our students take the first three levels, which prepares them for Yoga Alliance's 200 hour certification, and others move on to take all five levels, which prepares them for the Yoga Alliance's 500 hour certification.

Level I - Basic Instruction - 100 hours
Provides the fundamental elements of Hatha yoga for teaching foundational postures and basic breathing techniques. Upon completion, student receives an Award of Completion.

Level II - Certificate of Completion - Additional 60 hours
Provides knowledge and skills to teach in a variety of settings. Designed for teaching appropriate application of postures, breathing and relaxation. Prerequisite: Level I. Upon completion student is awarded Certificate of Completion.

Level III - Certification for 200 RYT National Registry - Additional 40 hours
Professional, high educational standards prepare one for teaching a broader spectrum of the population with the ability to modify and adapt asana, pranayama and meditation techniques and sequences. Prerequisites: Level I and II. Upon completion student is awarded a Certificate of Merit with application for 200-RYT national registry with Yoga Alliance.

Level IV - Masters Level Certification - Additional 150 hours
To extend the practice by increasing the scope to include a more comprehensive structure for expansionary growth by adding more philosophical components. Deepen the knowledge of asana, prayanama, meditation and self study through svadhyaya. Prerequisite: Level I, II and III.Upon completion student is awarded a Master's Level Certificate.

Level V - Graduate Level with application for 500 RYT National Registry - Additional 150 hours
Prerequisite:Level I, II, III and IV. Upon completion student is awarded a Graduates Degree of Excellence with application for 500-RYT national registry with Yoga Alliance.
